This interactive and highly informative session will help students who have returned from international experiences:
• Identify skills learned
• Articulate experience
• Communicate the value of time abroad

We touch on how to place these ideas in your application;
cover letters, and during job interviews. Among other topics you will learn about:
• How to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and skills you have acquired through study abroad in application cover letters
• How to link these skills to the requirements of prospective employers and admissions criteria of graduate schools
• How to highlight your study abroad experience and skills during job interviews

Student Comments on Workshop:
"Helped me consider things I hadn't and how it can really impact my resume. I believe I have unique skills, recognizing them andlearning how to communicate them is difficult."

"This session made me realize how little prepared I am for the job interviewing process! But, helped me organize thoughts and gave me strategies to get myself ready."

Workshops are 1 hour and groups of 4 or less. Bring a story about your experience abroad to share. Call 612-626-9000 for a schedule and to reserve your space.
