DirecTrack to Teaching is designed for exceptional undergraduate students who hold promise as future educators (middle school/junior high, or high school teachers).

The program provides early admission to the College of Education and Human Development's master of education (M.Ed.)/initial licensure programs, if specific program benchmarks are met.  By promoting early exposure to the culture of schools and teaching, the program allows students to explore the teaching profession while completing an undergraduate degree.

Interested students can be referred to Shuji Asai, Ph.D. at asai0003@umn.edu or 612-624-0512.
