Summer Time FAQ's

1)  Is the office open over the summer?
Social Sciences is in fact open over the summer.  We will have regular office hours - Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

2)  Are there any advising appointments open?
Yes!  But not many.  Your best bet is to call the front desk (number to the right) to book an open appointment.

3)  What does Social Sciences do over the summer?
Some of you may remember back to that summer in between high school and college when you went to Orientation and Registration - that is what the office is doing.  We are generally busy until the mid-afternoons helping incoming first year and transfer students get started here in the College of Liberal Arts.

4)  I have a question - how do I get it answered?
Well depending on the nature of your question you may need to either book one of our limited open advising appointments or you may be able to email your academic advisor.  If you do email please include your student ID number.  Email addresses are under the 'Staff List' to the right.
